Ginger is an engaged mother and therapist. She has been a licensed occupational therapist since 1996. She has worked in outpatient pediatrics, schools, and a pediatric vision therapy clinic. Her most important job has been to be a mother to two amazing children.
Her vision for Grasp4Success began after she had her own children. In volunteering in the general education classrooms, she saw kindergarteners struggling to keep up with the fine motor demands required of the curriculum. It was after that when she partnered with a teacher to help bring fine motor stations into the classroom to help all children, not just those eligible to receive therapy services. Her program saw great enthusiasm from teachers and parents alike, that she wanted to bring this to all children.
As a certified Simplicity Parenting Family Coach, Ginger appreciates a "less is more"approach to life. She sees the value of toys in a therapeutic and developmental way. She believes in the right toys, not more toys.
She loves the ability of children to explore their own creative and developmental potential through play. Her hope is that you find this fine motor box filled with toys and activities which will bring smiles and laughter to your home.
